Possible definitions for aphilanthropy
philanthropy
In Christian theology, love of humanity; more broadly, love of, or beneficent service on behalf of, humanity. Philanthropy is rooted in Christian anthropology, which sees Christ in everyone. In the fellow human, Christians see the image of the present Lord, who became human, suffered, died, and was resurrected in order to lead all humanity back into the Kingdom of God. From the beginning of church history, the doctrine of election (see Calvinism, predestination) has been opposed by the idea that God's love of humanity is greater than the righteousness that craves the eternal damnation of the guilty. Since the time of Origen, this second attitude is found among mystics, both in the Eastern Church and in Western Christendom.
